Carol D. Lavigne

Carol Lavigne has over 30 years of experience in the field of financial management and accounting, 17 of those with The RAM Companies.

After serving 3 years in the United States Army in Germany, Ms. Lavigne returned to Maine to complete her Bachelor’s degree in Finance, while continuing to serve in the US Army Reserve.  In 1992, with her undergraduate degree and an honorable discharge from the military, she began her career in financial management and accounting at one of Maine’s largest companies, while pursuing her Master’s degree in Business Administration.

As a finance and accounting professional with an MBA, Ms. Lavigne has held positions in insurance and banking companies and has traveled the world with a tradeshow firm, including 2 years in Argentina.

​

On a daily basis Ms. Lavigne oversees cash management, budgeting and forecasting, banking relationships, investor reporting and tax reporting for The RAM companies.  She also works directly with RAM’s business development team on loan closings, sales and acquisitions, as well as overseeing the firm’s general operational functions.  Her strong background in financial management and accounting makes her a valuable asset to the Executive Team at The RAM Companies.

Not only is Carol a tremendous asset to The RAM Companies, she has also been a Big Sister to one very special little girl through her local Big Brothers/Big Sisters organization for the last 16 years, she likes to cook and garden, and when it’s not snowing, she can usually be found on one of the many bike trails around the Greater Portland area.
