RAM was approached by the out of state owner of an 11-acre waterfront property that was the site of an abandoned industrial complex overlooking the city of Portland. After completing extensive due diligence and environmental studies, RAM’s concept was the development of the area's first “lifestyle rental apartments” with design and amenities including a fitness and business center, tennis courts, pool, and small boat dock, not available elsewhere in the area. With the full support of the surrounding residential neighborhood, RAM received all required approvals and the development of 136 apartments opened, successfully. The project was approved as 136 condominiums, although it is run as a rental site, allowing for a sale as individual condominium units in the future.
